Understanding Photo Upload Order

When uploading multiple photos to our website, the order in which they are uploaded is determined by the order in which you select them on your local operating system (OS).

Why Photos May Appear Out of Order:

  • If your photos appear out of order, it means they are being sent to us by your OS in that order, which we have no control over.
  • We do not perform any logic on our end to re-sort photos differently from how they were sent to us.

For Mobile Devices:

  • To upload photos in the desired order, select them from your mobile device in the order you want them to appear on the website.
  • For example, if you want photo #5 to appear first, followed by photos 1, 2, 3, and 4, select the fifth photo first, followed by photos 1, 2, 3, and 4. The upload order will then be 5, 1, 2, 3, 4.

For Desktop Computers:

  • Open the window where your photos you want to upload are stored. Sort them based on the desired criteria, for example, by name or date modified.
  • Select the range of photos from the top down to upload them in the desired order.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your photos are uploaded to the site in the order you intend. Watch our video below to see it in action.
